AS THE dissolution of Parliament approaches, Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu has expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Hakainde Hichilema for entrusting him with the responsibility of serving as a Cabinet minister.
Mr Nkandu, who rose from humble beginnings as a trader at Chisokone Market, reflected on his journey, acknowledging that his appointment was initially met with scepticism.
“I may not have been considered the ideal candidate by some,” he admitted.
“However, through the support, encouragement, and belief of many of you, we were able to walk this journey together in pursuit of a better Zambia.”
He said the President’s confidence in him demonstrated that leadership and national service should never be limited by one’s origins..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
